Dont tell me this town aint got no heart. you just gotta poke around

the bridal shower was really nice and my key lime treats were a success. after it was over i decided to drive to clayton for the night. billy is in atlanta so i was home alone. and it was either socialize with real people or stay home and play guitar hero until i had a seizure (it actually warns you that it could happen). and since billy was not home in case of such emergency, i chose to go to clayton. andrea and bogie were already in full swing on bogie's porch and the party lights were definitely on when i got there at 7pm. we had a lot of fun. it was a perfect night, the breeze was refreshing. and the sunset was really pretty. and once again, i left my sd card at home like an idiot. so no pictures again. the band was really good. they played different songs than what you normally hear at obriens. i don't think the "older" crowd liked it much but i did! overall it was a fun night to be in town and i am glad i went up there.

so today i just watched the golden compass. i read the book and the movie was pretty unimpressive compared to that. they left out a lot of stuff and the ending was cut short of the actual ending in the book. pretty disappointed. the book was great though.

another thunderstorm just passed through. it was literally raining buckets. our sidewalk looked like a river. and in 10 minutes it was over. on a positive note, i had my porch window open and all of my plants got watered!!
