awakening waters from winter's freeze

clear night river sky

the pieces of our life
are burning bright in
a clear night river sky

and as fast as a bright
summer shooting star
sizzling across the
hot august river sky

a million tiny memories

are spread along
the changing currents

how fast our time

the black night

my everyday....

i know i have not posted much in a long time. mainly it is because billy and i have just been hanging out and dealing with the winter. it would not be very exciting to document shoveling snow, which is how many of our, or should i say billy's, days have been spent. my camera has been safely sitting in it's travel bag for the majority of the winter. but recently the weather has turned very spring like, which hopefully means winter is over! i heard the sounds of birds today that i have not heard in many months as i sat on my front porch drinking coffee with a t shirt on.

so, we are doing very well. we are still here! our weekends have consisted of watching the syracuse basketball games and trips to sams club. very "everyday" stuff. i washed my car yesterday, very exciting! maybe i should post a picture of that?! anyways, hopefully in the near future we will both make the drive to the river, with camera in tow. and perhaps with the top of the porsche down? wishfull thinking! see you soon!
