it aint easy being green
i had to add these of my new bathroom because i am so proud of it. even though billy's friend dexter made the comment that you didnt really need the light on anymore. i told him i was saving on electricity and doing my part as a green citizen in my green bathroom.............

my future is so bright i gotta wear shades.........
i had the day off today and was feeling spontaneous. so i decided to paint the half bath. the splatter of hair dye on the wall was getting to me. so i chose celery as my color. the picture does no justice whatsoever of revealing just how bright it really is. it may even cure billy's colorblindness its so bright. or it may just give some unsuspecting house guest a full blown seizure. it hurts my eyes to look at it. i hope once i get some stuff on the walls it will tone down a little. yikes.................
it's in the photograph of love...cause everyone wants a dream, something they can barely see...
all of this photo taking had got me thinking. i decided to put my creative mind to the test and start selling photos of the river. i have had 3 very nicely framed 8x10's sitting on my table for a month. so lastnight i matted several other photos and made some greeting cards. i think they came out great. the next step is to find a venue in clayton to sell them...

keith frank gonna make you sweat.....

let me just say that i was in the best wedding ever on saturday. yes it was awesome. the ceremony was beautiful. reception was laid back and kickin at the same time. the best part was the band. sarah and ben pulled all strings by booking their favorite band, keith frank and the soileau zydeco band. with this band present, one could not stop dancing. ever.

...and when i wake tomorrow i'll bet that you and i will walk together again cause i can tell that we are gonna be friends....
it is wednesday and it is the end of my work week. which is great because i am in a wedding saturday in ithaca for sarah duford. and that means lots of stuff to do. sarah and i have been friends since 5th grade. i think our magical time together began on our 5th grade field trip to upper canada village, when i just happened to be in her group for the tour. i had known her previously when i did a stint in a jazz class, dancing to the erythmics "here comes the rain again". but i was a jazz class drop out. i don't think i apprieciated the leotard very much, since i was one of those "big boned" kids. anyways, we remained friends after all this time. and we have had plenty of good times. we always had so many little inside jokes that i cannot even remember what half of them mean. i am sure we are laughing about some of them in these wonderful pictures i put together as a span of time for our friendship.....enjoy....

sexy bachalorette momma in nyc............with this all said, congrats sarah and ben, can't wait to be a part of your big day saturday. i am sure it will be one to go down in the history books with the rest of our shennanagans............i'm out like a trout............

where you will be
i have tried to find you
in your final resting place
but never felt connected
its a bit cliche for me
i tried to feel something
as i drove by your old home
even the flowers in the garden
did not do it for me
but as i came around the corner
of that old rusho bay
my heart was full and it was clear
that is where you will always be,
for me.

just sit right back and you'll here a tale, a tale of a fateful trip, that started from this tropic port aboard this tiny ship
chillin at potters

stacy and trisha on the "s.s sin or swim"
bazzy and miss logan, the cutest little girl ever!
we almost got overtaken by pirates on the way back to shore

jim and i on the way home

another great weekend "up north", as billy would say. the weather was kind of ify but it stayed nice all day saturday for us to go out in the boat. the day was a all-day birthday celebration for trisha and stacy. billy, me, jim, trisha and stacy started the day with a boat ride around the backside of grindstone to potters beach. there we met up with the boggie/bazzy clan and rafted together for a few hours. around five we headed home to get ready for a trip to the thousand islands winery for a couple hours of chilling out and listening to a band. trisha and i enjoyed wine slushies. then of course we landed at obriens for some food and cake. and a little more of the spirits! there were tons of people there. billy was having fun because it was the class of 88 reunion so he got to catch up with some of his old friends. he had a lot of fun mentioning that while they were doing big kid stuff in 88 i was however "riding my bigwheel". i think he just likes that i am so young and he feels studly!!

you remain
you spent your life
digging and planting
your passion
grew abundant in
beautiful blooms
each season of your life
was marked with the
sweet smell of floral perfume
begining and end
in the absence of you here
even though you are gone
you still grow in this earth,
with the seeds you once did sow
and some surprizes still emerge
from within this earth
as if you are trying to say
"yes, i do still remain
growing in your heart"

broke into the old apartment, 42 stairs from the street
last weekend billy made yet another decision that sounded like crazy talk to me. we were looking into renting an apartment in the winged bull studio for a few weekends. and he took the place for the whole summer! it is downtown clayton, which is a perfect location for us when we come up. its furnished and it means we can leave essential stuff there without lugging it back and forth everytime we venture up there and back. saaweeet!!!

as i drift along....
the river flows
along with our souls
when we leave this place
we leave a piece behind
in the depths of the deep blue
as i drift along
i can see the pieces
of people i have left behind
in the depths of the deep blue
i hear their voices
and feel their smiles
i know they are happy to be behind
in the depths of the deep blue
and as i drift along
to where i am no more
i want to be left behind
so you can always find me
in the depths of the deep blue
